hello.  welcome to my blog, a place in the whole wide world where i come to gather together my ideas, my likes, and my own handmade stuff.

a little bit about me:
i shop at goodwill because i like a good bargain, i prefer to bake at home, drink hot tea, draw in my spare time, play the fiddle or the guitar, sing my daughter to sleep, go to the library, watch movies at home.
all of these things help us save money for our future farm.
plus, i just like to be self-sufficient as much as possible.  i keep learning little tricks along the way, and this blog is also a place where i will document those things.
